Inviting agency/individual submits documents to Vietnam Immigration Department (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, or Danang) or Immigration Office in the province where the applicant is residing. The approval process may take 5 working days.

  • Step 2: Foreigners prepare dossiers to get a student visa

After 5 working days, if the dossiers are approved, the inviting agency receives the approved entry letter from the Immigration Department. Warm greetings! I am an incoming PhD student at the RMIT University Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh Campus). In line with the student visa process in Vietnam, they request a visa pickup location, which can be the nearest Vietnam embassy or consular office. I would like to verify if the address below can serve as the visa pickup location: Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Philippines Address: 670 Pablo Ocampo St, Malate, Manila, Philippines However, there seems to be no confirmation of whether this can serve as the visa pickup office. Is it possible to use a visa agent to obtain my student visa? Will it be possible to process this remotely in the Philippines?
